Born in Brussels, Belgium, Israeli coloratura soprano Sharon Tadmor has captivated audiences with her vibrant vocal artistry and dynamic stage presence. Her repertoire spans a wide range of significant operatic roles, including Amour in Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice, both the Queen of the Night and Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (2022), Giulia in Rossini’s La scala di seta (2023), and Serpetta in Mozart’s La finta giardiniera (2023).

In the upcoming season, Sharon will make her debut as Zerbinetta in Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos and will take on the lead role in the newly composed opera Thumbprint with Oper Wuppertal.

Sharon graduated cum laude from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University and later earned her Master’s degree with distinction from the Dutch National Opera Academy—a joint program of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. She is continuing her vocal studies with Professor Mirla Hagen at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.

Sharon has collaborated as a soloist with prestigious Dutch orchestras such as the Dutch Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, Residentie Orkest Den Haag, Orchestra of the 18th Century, and the Pearls in Baroque ensemble. In Israel, she has performed with renowned ensembles including Barrocade, the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, and the Phoenix Ensemble.

A recipient of multiple awards, Sharon has been honored with the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship (2020–2021), the Holland Excellence Scholarship (2022–2023), and the Eva Kleinitz Scholarship (2023).

Alongside her operatic career, Sharon is an accomplished concert performer, specializing in repertoire spanning from early music to contemporary works. Her concert engagements include Bach’s Magnificat, Mass in B minor, and Matthäus-Passion; Mozart’s Mass in C minor; Charpentier’s Te Deum; Schnittke’s Requiem; Handel’s Dixit Dominus, and more.
